With an exciting programme line-up, CAKE & BAKE is set to attract all baking enthusiasts to Hall 3 at Messe Dortmund on 22 and 23 March 2025. From creative workshops and exciting stage performances to Germany's premier cake competition: the show promises to be an unmissable event for professionals, amateurs and all with an interest.
Dortmund, 18 March 2025 – Held in tandem with CREATIVA, Europe's biggest show for the creative community, CAKE & BAKE, itself Germany's premier cake design show, is set to inspire professional and amateur bakers on the weekend of 22 and 23 March 2025, offering the perfect platform for exchanging creative ideas. This year once more, there will be an exciting supporting programme plus the popular cake competition and a host of TV personalities.
Big international variety of exhibitors
Away from the CAKE & BAKE Stage, the rich diversity of international exhibitors from England, Hungary, Italy and six other countries will offer just about everything people need. From sophisticated cake design utensils and the latest products to clever baking accessories and kitchen equipment, everything can be found at the show. New this year is the Cookiecutterfabrik stand which, with its unique shopping experience and entertaining events, is sure to be the biggest community get-together. The International SugarArt Collaboration – under the direction of Tortenkünstler Deutschland e.V. – will be showing an exhibition on the theme of Beach Time. Over 30 international cake artists have created impressive showpieces for this event.
Ross Antony: the surprise guest at CAKE & BAKE
On Sunday, there will be an absolute highlight at CAKE & BAKE, with popular entertainer Ross Antony on hand for a meet-and-greet session at the Super Streusel stand from 13:00 hrs. Fans will be able to get an autograph and photo, and also discover Ross' exclusive crumble creations. As well as Ross' products, the Super Streusel stand will also include new sprinkle variations and creative drizzles.
Stage highlights and well-known personalities on the CAKE & BAKE Stage
A varied programme awaits visitors on the CAKE & BAKE Stage: content creator Carlo Sommer, better known as CasaCarlo with an impressive Instagram community of 500,000 followers, will be providing entertainment while decorating on Saturday. Bettina Schliephake-Burchhardt will demonstrate her extraordinary skills live on stage. She can also be visited at her stand on both days. Popular TV presenter Madita van Hülsen will open the supporting programme on both days of the weekend. The stars from German TV bake-off show Das große Backen will also be in attendance, with 2024 season winner Patrik Schäfer and all 9 other participants putting in an appearance along with Raheem Haidar who won top spot in 2022. On Sunday, reality TV star Julian F.M. Stoeckel and singers Eva Jacob and Stefanie Simon will up the ante with 'Glitz and Glamour’. Actress and current audience favourite on TV celebrity bake-off show 'Das große Promibacken', Manuela Wisbeck will also be appearing as a special guest, presenting her churros cookies on stage on Sunday. Big-name baking professionals also show off their skills, with Roger Hassler inspiring on-lookers with fascinating airbrush techniques, Robert Haynes conjuring up botanical sugar creations, and Marianne Daubner and Anita Willems masterfully showcasing the art of sugar pulling. The central meeting point for the supporting programme will be the CAKE & BAKE Stage.

Germany's premier cake competition
Over 160 impressive showpieces will be on display at Germany's premier cake competition. From creative masterpieces to the finest craftsmanship: the works will be assessed by the respected panel of judges from cake art society Tortenkünstler Deutschland e.V., with the award ceremony taking place as usual at the end of the show on Sunday.
Numerous workshops and hands-on activities for every level of skill
CAKE & BAKE 2025 will be particularly popular with people looking to refine their cake decorating and modelling skills. Fractal Colours will be offering creative cookie design courses. The participants in the 2024 season of 'Das große Backen' will also be offering exciting courses. New this year is the Saracino Factory from exhibitor Saracino, where people can learn how to model and design Easter figures at various workstations. The popular CAKE Academy by Saracino will also offer a variety of courses by national and international artists on the cake decorating scene. Those wishing to refine their skills can do so in the numerous workshops organised by international artists such as KristinaRado and Ludmilla Gruslak.
